Food and Ammunition

Many people are living their lives, failing to see the coming difficulties facing our country, while some folks are having misconceptions about what is coming.

Food
As you know, fuel prices are increasing, so those costs are going to be added to the things you and your family purchase.

Just to remind you and your family, ...

Farms use diesel to prepare their fields. Farmers use pesticides, made from petrochemicals, to increase the crop yield. Farmers use diesel to harvest the crop. Truckers use fuel to transport the food from farm to factory. Processing plants use oil to lubricate the machinery that moves the raw food through the factory. Again, truckers use diesel to move the food to the central warehouses where the food is readied for distribution to the grocery stores. The grocery stores that you drive to buy your food.

Ohh, ...

Don't forget all the driving done to get to work by the people working at the processing plants, the distribution warehouses, the grocery stores, the credit/debit card companies, and ... the people operating and maintaining the mass transit in our large and medium-sized cities.

Those prices will be passed on to the customer. If these prices aren't passed on, the companies will go out of business.

Don't forget that $15 minimum wage, too.

Ammunition
A relative decided to buy some ammunition several months ago. It was easy. He went to Cheaper Than Dirt, found what he was looking for, at a good price, then placed an order. He then waited, waited, waited, and waited some more, then Cheaper Than Dirt cancelled his order ...

Ooops, ... I apologize about the anti-commercial.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn says it best, ...

And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.

Just think, ...

How you and your family could protect yourselves with 20, 50, 100 or a thousand rounds of ammunition.?

What You Can Do
As you know, ammunition is expensive. Plus, it is difficult to obtain in large quantities, but don't despair. You can still buy a box of 50 rounds at a local gun show, from friends and family, and maybe even work colleagues. Just expect to pay $75 to $150.

On the other hand, food is still cheap, relatively. You can still purchase your family's normally eaten food for the same prices you paid last month. This gives you and your partner a chance to stock up on the bagged, boxed, bottled, and canned food that will store for a few weeks to years, for the tough times ahead.
